What better way to start off your toddler’s morning than with a delicious fruit smoothie? Today I got up and made this smoothie for both L and I – we loved it so of course, wanted to share our recipe 🙂
It’s made with blueberries, bananas, kale and a bit of soy milk (although I’m sure that if you use any other type of milk it would still taste great) – so is packed with antioxidants, fibre, vitamins A, C, K and B as well as folate, potassium and protein. L enjoyed a little version along with a jam sandwich, which happens to be her new favorite food in the mornings. Especially since it’s made with momma’s jam – you can find the recipe here!
The recipe’s below – hope you enjoy and have a super healthy sunny day!
Remove the stems of the kale and cut it into small pieces. Throw all of the ingredients in the blender, and enjoy!
